Tennessee U.S. Rep. Tim Burchett Suspects Bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. Secretly Pulling Strings to Push Country Toward Socialism

U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN-02) said late last month that he wonders whether certain aspects of inflation haven’t happened by design, as a means of pushing the United States closer to socialism.

Burchett said this on the talk show, Over-Caffeinated.

The Beacon Center of Tennessee, a Nashville-based free market think tank, produces the online show.

Over-Caffeinated hosts Justin Owen and Mark Cunningham asked Burchett about the effects of inflation and who suffers the most.

“It hits working people the hardest. Look at gas prices. Some bureaucrat in the White House said it really doesn’t affect working people. It just affects the rich people. Heck no. They just put another nickel on a can of beer. They just pass it on to us. And the reality is that when the gas prices go up it hurts working people, like those who have to fill up twice a week. It costs a few hundred dollars extra,” Burchett said.

“It is a disaster, and it starts at the top. I don’t want to be a conspiracy theorist, but I have been in political office most of my life. I’m not so sure some of this is not by design. You have heard them say in testimony that, ‘Yeah, we need to drive the price of gas up. We need to make it difficult so we can drive people toward electric vehicles.’ But the other end of that is we don’t have an electrical grid that, if we turned the switch tomorrow and we said all right, 70 percent of the people will drive electric vehicles, we don’t have an electrical grid to do it. We can’t put a new nuclear plant online because the bureaucrats have stifled everything. The other countries are not following those rules, and yet we continue to tie our hands. It’s all part of a bigger plan to push us toward a socialist form of government.”

Burchett said Republicans must “get some guts and have a plan and stick to it” or else the country will become completely unraveled.

Burchett, if you are serious about saving capitalism, then you will need to save it from self-destruction as laissez-faire capitalism is ultimately its own worst enemy. The socialist programs that you denounce such as T.V.A., Social Security, Medicare, Voting Protections, the Fair Labor Standards Act, etc., actually RESCUED conservatism from itself. Otherwise, major capitalists would have DEVOURED each other in their cutthroat competition and monopolizing practices WITHOUT any help from the Left!

Without FDR we’d have nothing when Republicans rule. Wait until Republicans stop Tenncare the socialist program in TN that so many minimum wage workers rely on. You think Republicans will have your back but all politicians are crooks, lining their own pockets.

Wow Tim, nothing gets past you……

In other news…..in other news, those of us who actually stay informed have known about this push towards socialism for, at least, the past 30 years.

Nothing secret about the direction our country is headed with the Communist Democrats, the media, and big corporations. You may want to learn to speak Chinese, that is what you will be speaking before China Joe leaves office. For local classes check with Commie Cooper! “Lets Go Brandon”

“Pushing” this USA’s socialist welfare state towards socialism? This political difference is between the person to person redistribution of profits and property.

Capitalism is the legal, nationwide defense of voluntary, cooperative capitalist person to person buying and selling, and all its cooperatively earned profits. The consequences of cooperative trade are peaceful coexistence and the consequences of the legal defense of whatever is cooperatively earned is perpetually increasing prosperity.

Socialism is the legally compelled person to person transfer of profits and/or property from the productively cooperative people earning them, to those effortlessly voting for them, the former legally denied their defense of anything the latter want. Since there is no legal limit on what socialists can acquire by voting, the degeneration into totalitarianism, with its systemic, nationwide persecution of the productive is inevitable, as are the catastrophic consequences caused by a nation of socialist thieves, futilely attempting to steal each other into perpetual prosperity.

Very interesting conversation, touching on some very important issues. The spotlight on China was particularly appreciated! Certainly, Burchette has the colloquial vernacular down to an art!

My only issue is that instead of answering the question, “why is it such a big deal, what’s happening to inflation and who’s to blame for it…”, Rep. Burchette expertly steered the conversation down one specific path, by indicting the Democrats as embracing socialism. The fact that Republicans and their equally egregious Federal spending, on endless wars, has mandated artificially suppressed interest rates by the “Fed”, was totally ignored!

When Burchette said, “…I think Kevin McCarthy has it right…” “…I’ve been in politics most of my life…” and regarding Steve Cohen, “he’s an old buddy…” I think Rep. Burchette is mostly OK but he enjoys the cushy ride within the political life too much to ever try and change anything for us common folk! And why isn’t he a member of the House Freedom Caucus? Straddling the fence me thinks.

This has been clear for quite some time. We all have to stand up to this, or they will win by our own in-action.
